A Warsprite from the Arcanum Urugal. The Crypt Tick has very good armor for a warsprite - the highest except for a Horned Blight in melee - though very low dodge. Health though is low so it presents a strange mix of resilience with squishiness. Despite this, the Crypt Tick is a surprisingly difficult adversary to kill. Using Leeching Stab, the Tick sinks its razor-sharp ventral fangs into its prey and restores itself to full health! If the Crypt Tick has no need to heal itself, it can Puncture the enemy with its second attack which does moderate damage. With ability to heal but without very powerful damaging abilities this unit makes a good utility golem to collect mana or to be the 'spotting' ally for a Bone Fiend. Despite the flying, the 2 MP orthogonal makes the Crypt Tick somewhat slow moving, though.
