Overview[]
Founded at least a thousand years ago, the Durani Empire is one of the oldest and proudest nations in Eretsu. The Empire, nominally ruled by the Supreme Emperor, is divided into two parts: the wealthy Upper Durani Empire, which contains a majority of the wealth and nobility of the Empire; and the turbulent Lower Durani Empire, a conglomeration of lower Hamazi noble houses and conquered Zikia tribes. Each half of the Empire is controlled by a Raga (Princess) or Raja (Prince) who in turn serves the Supreme Emperor.

The Durani Empire commonly makes use of the symbol of the Durani Arcanum and a stone tower.
